The Cal Poly Symphony teams up with the University Jazz Band in a program that explores the intersection of symphonic and jazz traditions.

WINTER CONCERT: Student Soloist Showcase and Pines of Rome

Every year, the Symphony holds auditions for student soloists and composers of any major. The prize for several of them - a performance with the Symphony, of course! Come hear this year’s winners and celebrate musical talent from across the University.

The Symphony will also perform Ottorino Respighi's colorful tone poem, Pines of Rome.

Spring Concert with Choirs: Symphonic Expressions

Cal Poly's Choirs and Symphony will combine to present two monumental symphonic works for choir and orchestra: Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.
